Recently Completed Initiatives
• Lowered the speed limit on local residential streets to 25 MPH, now in effect citywide
• Worked with TVA to locate a major electric utility switch somewhere other than inside Buckingham
• Stormwater drainage on Liberty Creek in Cadet neighborhood
• Addressed traffic control issues in Westhaven with an ordinance to allow police to enforce speed limits on streets not yet accepted by the city, now in effect citywide

Projects in Process
• Ensuring the promised landscaping plan for the MTEMC western substation and for buffering of Mack Hatcher Parkway will be built to the satisfaction of Franklin Green residents
• Full signalization of the Boyd Mill Avenue and Downs Boulevard intersection is currently under design

Projects Being Considered
• Sidewalk on Downs Boulevard from Boyd Mill Avenue to Reid Hill Commons to provide pedestrian connectivity from Jim Warren Park to the commercial node on Highway 96
• Traffic calming process in Spencer Hall
• A city wide recycling program is being discussed, but more information is needed – please continue to let me know if you would support a curbside program and if you would be willing to pay a small monthly fee for the service.
