Current Project Schedule
• Design of McEwen Drive from Carothers Parkway to Wilson Pike will be completed this year
• Construction of Carothers Parkway from Liberty Pike to McEwen Drive will begin in 08
• Construction of the Royal Oaks Boulevard and Murfreesboro Road intersection will begin once the ROW acquisition is completed by TDOT
• Construction of Hillsboro Road from Mack Hatcher to Highway 96W will begin in 08, with the section from in front of the high school to Mack Hatcher first to be done, including signalization at Claude Yates
• Context Sensitive Design for Mack Hatcher Parkway between Fanklin Road and Murfreesboro Road has been accepted by TDOT and engineering design is underway inhouse at TDOT
• Carothers Parkway from Goose Creek north to the Harpeth River will be constructed by developers
• Construction of McEwen Drive from Mallory Lane to Jordan Road will be opened early in 08
• Cool Springs Boulevard from McEwen Drive north will be constructed by developers as part of the Nissan North America project
• Engineering design for the northwest extension of Mack Hatcher has been authorized by TDOT, is currently underway and will be paid for by Southern Land Company. Click on the photo at right for a PDF of the CSD roadway simulations.
